"Think Baroque music

Musica Nuova will put
that misperception to rest."

Musica Nuova performed Heinrich Schütz's Weihnachthistorie, the Christmas Story, in Brooklyn Heights on December 6 and 7, 2014, to sold out audiences. We joined forces with the renowned Parthenia Viol Consort and the talented period instrument players of the Weckmann Project to create a spectacular vision of Schütz's Christmas Oratorio. If you missed this event, make sure to follow us on Facebook so you don't miss out next year!
We also raised almost $7,000 for the event through our very successful Schütz Bucket Challenge, so thank you for your support!
"Capacity crowd…engaging performance…imaginative staging."
-- Vivien Schweitzer, The New York Times
